Just a little note to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. The 2011 Christmas party was once again a very enjoyable experience and being surrounded by model and full size airplanes in Glen’s hangar provided a wonderful backdrop for the party.
I feel it has been a very good year for the Club with significant improvement in the field conditions and the construction of four new starting tables. We were successful in planting grass on the major infield bare spots and have already accomplished preliminary treatments that will provide a good start next spring to the grass in both the infield and grass runway areas.
Let me thank you for your membership during the 2011 flying year. Nothing says you have the best interest in the Club like your membership. The dues for 2012 will remain the same as last year as we try to make the flying experience possible for as many members/potential members as possible.
Feel free to renew your membership for the New Year any time now. You may use Pay Pal, send a check to the Club post office box or submit payment to any officer. The 2012 Club membership sticker is available now and needs to be attached to your 2012 AMA card.
The gate lock combination will be changed not later than January 1, 2012 so let me encourage you to keep your flying privileges current by getting your 2012 Club membership sticker placed on your 2012 AMA sticker just as soon as possible.
Again, speaking for your 2012 elected officers let me wish you a joyous holiday season and many happy landings in the New Year.
